Etsy featured my “Yes, No, Maybe So” pillow in their “My Funny Valentine” Gift Guide (take a peek at the top left corner). I’m feeling the Etsy L-O-V-E this week!

I made the front page of Etsy and didn’t even know it. Luckily, a fellow, dear Etsian took a screenshot and sent it my way. My “Rag Fabric Coasters” are featured on the top left of the photo grid (aka “treasury). Being just one of 325,849(!) shops on Etsy, this is quite an honor.

I’ve done it again. I made two pillow covers and am very excited about how they turned out! I’ve been reading up on history of the Ventura County area (since I’m new here) and apparently, there is some archeological dig going on at local beach. In the past, they’ve finding found all sorts of treasures left behind by the Chumash Indians. So, the wheels started churning and I ended up with these two beauts:
Handsome Chief
Lovely Squaw
I have a few more ideas up my sleeve, so please check back!

Yesterday I was a sewing maniac. I am gearing up for Valentine’s Day and made a whole bunch of new stuff for my shop. I don’t know where this new found inspiration came from, but I’m going to just roll with it. Here’s a pincushion that I really adore:
and a silhouette pillow I made of Brian.
A friend thought it was a silhouette of George Bush Jr., and that didn’t bode well (as you can imagine). Perhaps it was because Brian’s mouth is slightly open, giving him a goofy look (I really captured his essence!). Anyhow, I am offering to do custom silhouettes, which make a rather charming gift.
I’ll be adding two new heart pillows to pillowfarmer.etsy.com tomorrow, so check back!

Pillow Famer is my latest project. I built an etsy store this past November and am obsessed with the crafty site. Stop on by pillowfarmer.etsy.com and tell me what you think. I’m adding new treats every week, mainly home accessories, but also am starting a line of ring bearer pillows. It’s a cozy little shop and I’m pretty proud of what I’ve produced thus far.
Here’s a peak at my most recent pillow:

It’s not your ordinary ring pillow, which is why I’m so darn fond of it and wishing I had made it for my own wedding. *Sigh*

Hi Rochelle, You have made some very lovely pillows! I showed my husband which one will make me happy… If he doesn’t go for it, I will buy one myself, eventually! I can feel you are really enjoying making them. ADZIA
